Say hello to your first ever Executive Committee
On Sunday the 28th of July 2024, Pride in Labour held its first Open Meeting. We are enormously grateful to everybody who attended and gave their input. It was a valuable meeting in many ways.
During the meeting, we held elections for our first ever Executive Committee and we are pleased to announce that the following people were elected and will serve for up to an initial period of six months: Jamie Strudwick, Avery Greatorex, Samantha Brown, Mila Rowan-Buckley, Rose Harris, Zack Murrell-Dowson, Matilde Enevoldsen, Max O’Hara, Aidan Crawley, Riley Gibson and Sacha Marten.
In addition, at the meeting a motion was passed which gives the Committee certain responsibilities, a tenure, and a structure. Individual roles will be decided at the first Executive Committee meeting which we expect will take place in the next week. The motion can be read here.
The Executive Committee would like to express its deepest gratitude to everybody who has supported us this far. We are extremely excited to get started.
